About
Jair Nunes — software & AI systems architect with fifteen years in enterprise e-commerce and retail. I've worked on catalogs with millions of SKUs, self-checkout with offline queues, fiscal integrations that can't fail on the busiest day of the year, and — for the last few years — AI agent systems running in real operations, not demos. The longest of those ran in production for two years: a multilingual GenAI pipeline spanning three continents, where the interesting problems were hallucination in a specialized domain, loops in the agent pipeline, and persistence on steps you can't take back.
This site is a personal wiki — wiki, not landing page. It's where long notes on architecture, production patterns, and lessons worth recording before they're forgotten live. Written for engineering leaders and builders who make architecture decisions under real constraint — budget, deadline, a small team, and a system that has to stay up.
You can find me on LinkedIn, GitHub, and in the Portuguese-language newsletter Infraestrutura Invisível on Substack. Direct contact: contato@jairnunes.com.
What I write about
- Applied architecture — patterns that survive peak traffic and a fiscal auditor, not conference slides.
- Applied AI — agents in production, multi-squad, with observability and cost under control.
- Engineering practice — TDD, spec-driven development, code review, validation harnesses.
What I don't write
- Hot takes on the framework of the month.
- Promises of 10x productivity with no cost.
- Funnel content — if that's what you're after, there's the rest of the internet.
